Solitude

(From my point of view, for you it could be different)

I think that solitude and isolation can be similar but solitude is when you truly sit with yourself. Isolation can feel forced or lonely, but solitude is when you choose to sit with yourself. Being able to sit and meet yourself, learn who you are or who you were, and begin healing into who you chose to become. I finally experienced solitude, and yes, at times it was lonely… but I knew I was not alone. There were times it became uncomfortable, but I learned that discomfort isn't always a bad place, sometimes, it’s where the growth begins. Now, that does not mean staying in environments that harm you. Solitude is different, it’s the intentional, quiet space rooted in reflection.

It's in those moments, when you stop running from yourself, that the real healing begins and from that healing, you begin to experience joy and peace.
